Life Groups are small gatherings of people who meet regularly to connect, grow in faith, and support one another. Whether through Bible study, prayer, sharing meals, or just talking about life, these groups are about building relationships in an honest, down-to-earth environment. They’re a place where you can explore what following Jesus looks like in your everyday life.

Current Groups:

LGBTQ life group:

-  We're an inclusive LGBTQ+ group that prioritizes community building by hosting a get-together once a week. Our gatherings range from scripture studies, game nights, poetry nights, and so much more. Our group encourages members to lead our meetings which accounts for all the various activities.

   Location: 12th and MLK, but location does vary

   Start Date: 9/19/2024

   Frequency: 7:20 PM every Thursday

Oak Life Families:

 -  Community hangouts for kiddos and parents about every other month.

   Location: Address varies depending on hang out

   Start Date: 10/19/2024 from 3:30-5:30 at a local park (TBD)

   Frequency: About every other month

Chair Chats Continued:

 -  Let's do life together! This life group will use the previous Sunday's sermon to guide our conversations as a starting point each week (even if you missed the sermon you can participate in the conversation!) We aim to create a space that allows us to get to know each other on a deeper level and support each other. Snacks will be provided!

   Location: Oakland Chinatown - 9th and Franklin

   Start Date: 10/2/2024

   Frequency: 7pm every Wednesday

North Bay Life Group:

 -  The North Bay Life Group is a film club where members of the group vote on a movie to watch and discuss, while sharing food and enjoying each other's company. 

   Location: Rotating between Benicia, Vallejo, Martinez, Hercules.

   Start Date: 9/13/2024

   Frequency: Once per month on the 2nd Friday of each month, 6pm - 9pm.

Bible Study (name TBD):

- Bible study to deepen the answering of some of the big questions presented in this most recent series - deeper dives on the ones answered in sermons and explorations on the ones that haven't come up yet.

   Location: TBD

   Start Date: 10/10/2024

   Frequency: TBD, but currently looking at 6p every Thursday

Board Game Group:

Hiking Group:

 -  Meets (typically) every 1st Saturday of the month, rain or shine.

   Location: varies

   Start Date: never stopped ^_^)

   Frequency: monthly

Prayer Group:

 -  Meets (typically) every 1st Sunday of the month, after the church service from aprox: 12noon - 1pm. We follow a lose agenda, where we pray or each other and whatever else may come up. Drop in style attendance, so no sign ups needed. That said, if you have more questions, please feel free to "sign up" for more info.
